We know this is a difficult time for many of our customers who are concerned about the impacts COVID-19 is having on their health, families, finances, farms and businesses. We’re in this together and committed to helping our customers through the uncertainty, so that their energy supply is one thing they can rely on.

Keeping the lights on and bottle gas delivered.


We have robust plans in place and do not anticipate any impact on our ability to generate electricity or supply of gas.

  • Generating your power: Our Generation teams are on site at power stations around the country to keep these critical operations going to ensure security of supply.
  • Delivering your bottled gas: Our LPG drivers are continuing to make sure customers have gas through the lock-down, delivering bottles across the country. Our drivers are taking the necessary precautions before entering your property. For everyone’s safety, please follow the two-metre social distancing rule and don’t touch the gas bottles.
  • Our teams are still here: Our technology, infrastructure and support teams are up and running and equipped to support your business.
  • Your business and estimated reads: If your business sometimes receives estimated bills due to your meter type we may need to hear from you. If you have significantly reduced your energy consumption, or have switched off your supply please contact us so we can ensure your estimated bill is more reflective of your current situation. This may be for your electricity meter, and will affect all gas meters on your premises. We're here to help.
  • Outages: We’re working hard alongside our contractors to ensure electricity supply is one less thing you need to worry about so are prioritising emergencies, faults and reconnections.

Our customers continue to be at the centre of our thinking and our plans as we monitor and respond to COVID-19 and it’s impacts. We understand that the coming months may be challenging as we move in and out of lock-down and there are some ways we can help.

We are working closely with the wider industry to determine if relief can be provided for the fixed costs portion of your energy supply and will keep you updated with any changes. We’re also passing through to your business any lines decreases provided by the lines companies that are relevant to you.
